The CEO of United Airlines has been forced to apologize after taking a private jet from the New York area to Denver when his flight to be canceled - leaving his paying customers to endure airport chaos ahead of the July 4 holiday.Scott Kirby, president of the airline since 2016 and CEO since 2020, said on Friday he realized the Wednesday flight was a bad look.He caught the private flight from Teterboro, , to Denver on Wednesday, when United canceled 750 flights — one-fourth of its schedule for the day.
