Republicans from the US House of Representatives have voted to formalise an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden as their investigation reaches a critical juncture and right-wing pressure grows. In a 221-212 vote, all GOP members supported the resolution to formalise the inquiry – including Rep. Ken Buck of Colorado, who had said earlier this week he was leaning against it.Up until this point, House Republicans had not had enough votes to legitimise their ongoing inquiry with a full chamber vote.
