A Variety reporter claims he was kicked off the red carpet of MJ: The Musical for asking questions about the singer's child sexual assault allegations. Journalist Michael Appler tweeted on Wednesday that he was booted for 'asking basic questions about the allegations against Michael Jackson' on Tuesday at the show's debut. Appler was there to interview cast and crew of the new Broadway production MJ The Musical - which was written by two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lynn Nottage and follows the rehearsal process for the singer's 1992 Dangerous tour, a year before he was accused of child abuse - when he was told he was asking 'difficult questions' and that weren't allowed 'on opening night.'
