The accused 15-year-old Venezuelan gunman who has been arrested for allegedly shooting a woman in Times Square during a robbery will be tried as an adult in court. Jesus Alejandro Rivas-Figueroa, a migrant from Venezuela has been charged with two counts of attempted murder, assault, attempted assault and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, according to officials. After being arrested yesterday, he was seen with his hands and legs cuffed while being ushered by two detectives into the Manhattan Criminal Court today.
