The tech billionaires behind a planned 'utopian' California city have released new details including park space, new jobs and resident life as backers plan to ask local voters for permission to move forward with the development.
The planned Solano County city is being backed by a host of billionaire investors including Jan Sramek, Laurene Powell Jobs and LinkedIn founder Reid Hoffman who submitted a ballot initiative on Wednesday laying out their plans.
The plans for a new 'old-fashioned,' walkable city which could accommodate 40,000 people by 2040 have been met with local resistance in recent months.
