Cole Hocker's father, Kyle, screamed an explicit response as his son won the 1,500meter race at the in dramatic fashion.

Hocker grabbed headlines on Tuesday after upsetting the favorites to win the event. At the tail end of the race, Hocker breezed past world champion Josh Kerr of Great Britain and Norway's Jakob Ingebrigsten to break the Olympic record with a time of 3:27.65.

Like the rest of the world, Hocker's father was shocked by his son's last-ditch effort to steal the race from his competitors as the door appeared to be closing in his face.
