White Lotus star reveals the shocking storyline CUT from hit show

star Carrie Coon just revealed a shocking storyline involving her character Laurie Duffy that creator Mike White cut from his critically-acclaimed hit show following the November 5th re-election of President .

The 44-year-old actress filmed her role as corporate lawyer and recent divorcée from New York on the set between February 2024-August 2024, and she shot a scene where Laurie hinted that her troubled daughter Ellie was or non-binary.

'You see Laurie struggling to explain it to her friends, struggling to use they/them pronouns, struggling with the language, which was all interesting,' Carrie told last Friday.
