Researchers in revisited 2010 study that looked the impact of a woman's menstrual cycle on who they voted for in the 2008 election between and John McCain. The original work suggested that while they were ovulating - which is when the risk of pregnancy is highest - female voters favored Obama due to 'genetic fitness,' such as age and attractiveness.
