Wretched courtroom behavior of mother accused of drowning her daughter

A Nashville mother accused of drowning her daughter because she wanted to be left alone sobbed in court as she was denied bond and learned she could be executed.

Brandi Elliot, 33, was charged with first-degree murder and denied bond after she allegedly drowned her seven-year-old daughter Piper in Drakes Creek in Hendersonville on Saturday.

She cried in court on Tuesday as she told the judge told the judge that her veteran husband was living with a disability.
