A teenager has been awarded $1.9 million after he was shot in the elbow and arm by a cop pursing a bank robber, destroying his hopes of becoming a musician. Rylan Wilder, 19, was handed the compensation by the city of Des Plaines, a suburb of , earlier this week over the November 2019 incident at Chicago's Upbeat Music and Arts school.Dramatic footage showed Wilder being struck by bullets as bank robber Christopher Willis rushed into the school to escape, followed by cop James Armstrong, who opened fire.
