A nanoengineer based in has had plenty of 'mad scientist' moments but his latest invention of a tattoo that users can turn on and off is perhaps the most impressive. Carson Bruns developed 'Magic Ink' which turns on with ultraviolet light and turns off in daylight or even a flashlight. The assistant professor at the University of Colorado-Boulder tested the invention on himself and tattooed a small blue dot on his forearm.
