Colorado funeral home owners where 189 rotting bodies found arrested

The owners of an eco-friendly funeral home where 189 after a putrid smell was reported have been arrested.

Jon and Carrie Hallford were picked up in Wagoner, on Wednesday on suspicion of committing abuse of a corpse, theft, money laundering and forgery.

The owners of the Return to Nature funeral home in Penrose were charged just over a month after cops swooped on their burial facility, following reports from concerned neighbors over a 'dead animal smell'.
