NFL owners are expected to approve Dan and Tanya Snyder’s record $6 billion sale of the Washington Commanders on Thursday, ending one of the league’s most turbulent ownership tenures and shifting control of the club to a group led by Josh Harris.The sale, which was agreed upon in May, is the largest ever paid for a North American sports franchise.It has been awaiting league approval, which ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports is forthcoming Thursday.
