Known colloquially as 'Yee Haw' by its residents, this remote enclave in Trinidad, , owned by Charles Garth, has become both a symbol of communal self-sufficiency and a battleground between idealism and public health, housing hundreds of people over the past four decades in structures built from salvaged materials and renovated buses.
But have deemed the property an 'urgent health hazard' due to severe sewage and sanitation issues, including overflowing toilets, leaking sewage, and uninhabitable structures.
