Funny moment reporter tells radio host 'I love you' while texting mom

A reporter provoked uncontrollable laughter on air when he accidentally told a radio host 'I love you' while he was texting his mother during a live broadcast.

Philip Wegmann, who covers the for independent news site RealClearPolitics, appeared on WMAL radio station in Washington D.C. on Thursday afternoon.

The Indiana-native was signing off from an interview with host Chris Stigall, who was promoting one of Wegmann's recent articles when he responded: 'I love you. Thank you.'
