While Hope Solo rose to stardom as US soccer's star goalie, winning two gold medals and a World Cup, the athlete has become synonymous with trouble following tales of drunken behavior that led to arrests for suspicion of beating her nephew and drunk driving.
From 2000 through 2016, Solo, 40, made 202 national team appearances and helped the US a pair of Olympic gold medals in 2008 and 2012, as well as the 2015 World Cup.
Despite being hailed as an icon of the sport, all was not as it seemed on the surface as Solo admitted to taking part in drunken parties during the and Games, appearing drunk on TV during a celebration interview for the former.
