A Virginia man on Tuesday was convicted of murdering his 18-year-old stepdaughter who died of heroin poisoning nearly seven years ago, a report said.
Wesley Hadsell now faces life in prison for the killing of Anjelica “AJ” Hadsell, who disappeared while home from college for spring break in March 2015, The Virginian-Pilot reported.
AJ, a student at Longwood University, had been missing for five weeks before authorities found her body partially buried in a drainage ditch behind an abandoned home in Southampton County.
