The city attorney fired by Mayor Eric Adams' administration after berating him over mask rules for kids believes that she could not have been fired for performance issues as the city insists.
Daniela Jampel, 38, was fired as an attorney at the Department of Law on Monday, soon after storming a press conference and berating Adams about his rule that kids under five must wear masks.
A source close to Jampel told DailyMail.com on Tuesday that 'this could not have been performance related' as she has been out of the office on maternity leave for several months.
