America's top business executives saw healthy pay raises last year that far outstripped the gains of the average worker, according to a new analysis of public company filings.In 2021, more than half of CEOs at S&P 500 companies saw their compensation rise 11 percent or more, with most chief executives making 186 times the pay of the median worker, according to a analysis of pay data for more than half the index from MyLogIQ. Median CEO pay rose to $14.2 million last year for the leaders of S&P 500 companies included in the analysis, up from a record $13.4 million for the same companies a year earlier. Nearly one-third of CEOs saw their pay packages increase by at least 25 percent.
