A Texas home hospice service owner has been accused of falsifying a do-not-resuscitate form, according to the Plano Police Department.
Pamela Ekor-Tarh Eyambe, 60, was charged with tampering with physical evidence after an investigation into the death of a person being cared for by her Peaceful Touch Hospice & Palliative Care led to the discovery of the “falsified” DNR form, police said.
The alleged sham resuscitation document is not related to the patient whose death was initially being investigated — and police said they are doing an in-depth probe to find out if there are more fake DNR forms.
