Billionaire is being sued by a shareholder who claims the CEO's delay in disclosing his more than 5 percent stake in the social media giant allowed him to buy shares at a lower price.
Marc Bain Rasella filed the lawsuit against Musk for alleged securities fraud in Manhattan federal court on Tuesday, according to a report.
The suit claims the billionaire was required to disclose his holdings to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission by March 24, but the delay kept Twitter's share price down allowing Musk to buy more shares at a lower price.
