Unprecedented Border Patrol plan to accelerate Trump mass deportations

In a never-before seen move, the US Border Patrol is now deputizing National Guard members at the border - giving members of the military without immigration training the ability to arrests migrants anywhere in the country.

In partnership with President , Texas has taken the unprecedented step of deputizing Texas National Guard members with Title 8 authority-- what gives Border Patrol and Immigration and Custom Enforcement (ICE) agents the legal power to enforce US immigration law.

However, unlike Border Patrol and ICE agents, Texas National Guard members do not have training in the very complex immigration laws of this country.
