Whoopi returns to The View after suspension over Holocaust comments

returned to ABC's on Monday after a two-week suspension following comments she made over the Holocaust last month, vowing 'to keep having tough conversations' on the program for as long as she remains co-host.

The 66-year-old host commented on her return at the start of Monday's show, the first Goldberg has co-hosted since her suspension began on February 1, after comments she made about the Holocaust 'not (being) about race' drew widespread backlash.

'Well, hello, hello, hello and welcome to The View. And yes, I am back… And I missed you all, too,' Goldberg said to viewers and her co-hosts at the top of Monday's show.
