Carlson tells FL Republican she cares more for Ukraine borders than US

Tucker Carlson has accused a Florida congresswoman of being more concerned with protecting Ukraine's borders than those of the United States, after she backed President Volodymyr 's appeal for more weapons for his country, but refused to call for U.S. troops to be sent to the Mexican border.

Carlson invited Maria Salazar, a former news anchor turned US representative, onto his show after she hit the headlines for her support of a no-fly zone above Ukraine.

Salazar, 60, was asked last week by The Grayzone, the website run by controversial former journalist Max Blumenthal, whether she supported a no-fly zone.
