Retired NFL star AJ Green is pushing for the NFL to do more to address mental health issues among players, particularly those battling physical ailments.
Although he's best remembered for his time with the Cincinnati Bengals, Green's 12-year NFL career came to an end in Arizona, where he briefly played with Rondale Moore.
The two grew close as Green mentored the younger Moore, whom he referred to as his 'third and oldest kid.' But with Moore's recent suicide in Indiana following years of injury issues, Green felt compelled to address the issue in a piece for The Players Tribune.
