Major League Baseball and Mastercard held another cancer drive during Game 2 of the World Series in Toronto on Saturday night.
But as well intentioned as it may have been, the accompanying mid-game Jonas Brothers performance was one step too far for many baseball fans.
With the Los Angeles Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays knotted at 1-1 coming out of the fifth inning, the league cut to its StandUpToCancer drive, which traditionally involves fans holding up signs naming the cancer victims in their lives. As always, information for the SU2C is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization flashed across the screen, giving fans details on how they can raise money for cancer awareness and research.
