US Capitol cop arrested for drunken fight in Israel ahead of Pelosi visit: report

A member of the US Capitol Police was arrested in connection with a drunken fight in Israel last month while on an advance security detail ahead of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s trip to the Middle East, a report said.

The unidentified member of the US Capitol Police Dignitary Protection Detail allegedly needed to be hospitalized after he became intoxicated and got into an altercation, according to ABC News.

The circumstances of the fight and arrest were unclear, according to the network. The cop was reportedly flown back to the US after being released from the hospital.
